Urgent Sad news Janaza & Burial, Prof Kabir Tomorrow Saturday Dec 24 after Zuhr 12.30 pm at Ottawa Masjid

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ
Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh “Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Rajioon” = “To Allah we belong and to Him is our return.” Quraan 2.156 .

We are sad to inform you, the passing of  former professor Dr. A.B.M. Lutful Kabir has passed away this morningFriday Dec 23 2016 at the Ottawa Heart Institute (inna lilla hee wa inna ilayhee rajioon). He was a professor of  Carleton University and leaves behind his wife, 2 daughters and 3 beautiful grand-children, and  extended family, friends and  caring community.

The  Janaza Prayer will be held tomorrow Saturday December 24, 2016 at Ottawa Main Mosque, 251 Northwestern Avenue right after Duhr Prayer (12:30pm) and he will be buried at the Ottawa Muslim Cemetery, 1668 Manotick Station Road.

 We pray, may Allah SWT,forgive his short comings, make his grave fill with noor and  grant him  Jannah-tul Ferdaous.

Holy Quran says, “Every soul will taste of death. And you will be paid on the Day of Resurrection only that which you have fairly earned. Whoso is removed from the Fire and is made to enter paradise, he indeed is triumphant. The life of this world is but comfort of illusion.” (Al Qur’an 3:185).

We need to plan and prepare for the house where we will stay thousands and thousands of years compared to our transit house of less then 100 years.
