Algonquin College Student Video Project Showcases Local Leaders, Steve Desroches is a former City Councillor and Deputy Mayor

For the last three years I have worked closely with students at Algonquin College to prepare short videos to highlight local groups or projects. The videos help small organizations with limited budgets create a professional and positive on-line presence.  The students are part of Algonquin College’s School of Interactive Media Design. The cutting edge program includes courses on web development, digital imaging, animation, photography and video. This year the students and I are working to produce a promotion video to highlight the tremendous work of the Canada-Bangladesh Education Trust. Watch for the CBET video in the new year. I am always impressed with the talents and creativity of the students. Last year’s video featured Barrhaven’s Chinese Stone Lions in Water Dragon Park.
