HCI Orphan Fund Raising,Sadia Masroor
HCI is a federally registered Canadian charity dedicated to helping alleviate human suffering through sustainable development and emergency relief projects that foster self-reliance and preserve human dignity. Since its founding in 1980, HCI has invested over $150 million in global initiatives. As well, HCI is a proud supporter of a number of local projects throughout Canada.
Among its many projects, the cause of the Orphans has a special priority in HCI’s mission.
153 million children worldwide are orphans according to latest statistics from UN. HCI is working to reach out to the orphans in numerous countries and provide them with compassionate care, nutrition, education, and healthy upbringing. بإذن الله
A staggering 5 million orphans live in Bangladesh today and a large number of them are forced to fend for themselves living on the streets in a hazardous environment, rummaging through garbage for food and for plastic to sell as daily wages. Orphans are the most vulnerable victims of abuse and exploitation triggered by hunger and extreme poverty that restricts their access to basic education and medical care.
In partnership with CBMC – Canada Bangladesh Muslim Community, HCI will provide for nutrition, education, and healthy upbringing of 200 Orphans in Bangladesh. إن شاء الله .
