Neither Love nor Hatred can be Allowed to Compromise Justice, Dr. Emdad Khan, Ottawa
God sent his prophets so that mankind must establish Justice in Society. Unbiased justice for every section of society, not for own relatives or against even enemy. Not against any ethnicity or any faith. Every human being is dignified in the eyes of law and deserves equal treatment poor or reach, balk or brown or white.
Here we have shown from the Quran, what the Almighty, the Creator commanded His best creation mankind in the revealed Book.
Islamic teaches; Justice. Adel
Indeed We have sent Our Messengers with clear proofs, and revealed with them the Scripture/book and the Balance (justice) that mankind may keep up justice. And We brought forth iron wherein is mighty power, as well as many benefits for mankind, that Allâh may test who it is that will help Him (His religion), and His Messengers in the unseen. Verily, Allâh is All-Strong, All-Mighty. (57.25) AlHadeed
God commands for justice as we listen every Friday Jumah.
Verily, Allâh enjoins Al-Adl (i.e. justice and Al-Ihsân [i.e. Kindness], and giving (help) to kith and kinand forbids evil deeds, and Al-Munkar (i.e all that is prohibited unlawful acts and Al-Baghy (i.e. all kinds of oppression), He admonishes you, that you may take heed. (16.90)
Justice even against own relatives out love
“O You who believe! Stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allah, even as against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, and whether it be (against) rich or poor: for Allah can best protect both. Follow not the lusts (of your hearts), lest ye swerve, and if ye distort (justice) or decline to do justice, verily Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do.” [An-Nisa 4:135]
Jstice for Enemy, no hatred
The other equally potent impediment is hatred.
Here again Qur’an commands: “O ye who believe! Stand out firmly for Allah, as witnesses to fair dealing, and let not the hatred of others to you make you swerve to wrong and depart from justice. Be just: that is next to Piety: and fear Allah. For Allah is well-acquainted with all that you do.” [Al-Maidah 5:8] .Do justice even when we are dealing with the enemy
Do Justice to Mankind, Restore Amanah/Trust
“Verily, Allah do command you to render back your Trusts to those to whom they are due; and when ye judge between man and man, that ye judge with justice: verily how excellent is the teaching which He gives you! For Allah is He Who hears and sees all things.” [An-Nisa 4:58]
Let us all read and ponder and contribute to establish justice in our home, family, relatives, community, neighbourhood, works and society we live.
