Let us take care of our Children, Dr Emdad Khan:
Surah AlTahreem A6
66:6
O believers! Protect yourselves and your families,
from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones,
overseen by formidable and severe angels,
who never disobey whatever Allah orders—
always doing as commanded.
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
Our children are gifts to us. Let us protect them to grow as law abiding good Canadinan citizens.
Yes, our children and we need money but more importantly our children need our time.
Also, we need to engage as parents with school and regularly meet class teachers..
In the school, children face an environment unlike our home or our masjid.
So, we need to be close with our children and listen to them at dinner or before going to bed.
The new sex education curriculum, Islamophobia, and sports, we need to educate the children how to approach them.
Let us take our children as parents together to our local masjid and it helps them to meet like minded families and children.
Let us also identify like minded families, where we can meet together as parents and children and socialize.
May Allah protect us and our children as Canadian Muslims, keeping our identity and root.
