Let us be Mindful what we Say, Dr Emdad Khan
In surah AlSaf, verse 2, Allah swt says,
61:2
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لِمَ تَقُولُونَ مَا لَا تَفْعَلُونَ ٢
O believers! Why do you say what you do not do?
And in verse 3, He swt says,
61:3
كَبُرَ مَقْتًا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ أَن تَقُولُوا۟ مَا لَا تَفْعَلُونَ ٣
How hateful it is in the sight of Allah that you say, what you do not do!

Here in surah AlSaf Verses 2nd and 3rd, Allah swt guides us.
It is important for us to implement what we say and we will do.
It is hateful in the sight of Allah swt what we say but do not do.
May Allah swt protect us from this undesired behavior and we become truthful of what we agree to do and implement it.
It is an important and desirable good behavior of every person especially as Muslim.
