People who lived in the 1930s, 50s, even 70s, 80s or 90s would never have guessed that the presumed leader of the so-called Free World would celebrate his birthday at the expense of the Taxpayer U.S. Citizen. Yet, like it or not, President Trump has decided to celebrate his birthday, and U.S. Citizens will dish out $ 42 (+) million dollars to accommodate the cost of the birthday celebration of their beloved President. Trump is calling it ARMY or Military Day, which will feature a military parade and frills. That day will (actually) celebrate his Birthday.
Amid the tragic policy of the tariffs war, General Motors announced that the Trump’s global Tariffs war will cost them 25 billion dollars. Moreover, Apple’s CEO declared that the Tariffs war will cost his company 900 million dollars. Other U.S. companies, such as BIG retailer Walmart have also announced increase in their prices, to the frustration of Mr. Trump. Other U.S. companies are assessing the damage of Trump’s Tariff war and its impact on USA land and citizens.
Most American Economic experts and university professors from coast to coast to coast are warning of possible economic recession that would potentially extend beyond the walls of the USA. They plainly warn that Trump’s economic policies are insane. Feeling the multi-sided pressure in the Usa and internationally, Trump appears to be bending and hints to making (better) trade deals.
Also, Trump’s dream is to have what he called “ The Golden Dome” for North America. Canada expressed interest in joining this military defense project. This Super Military Project is estimated to cost over 100 trillion dollars.
Therefore, several unanswered queries come into play relative to this process: –
– People ask where are the ostensibly checks and balances of the U.S. democratic system and the formidable institutions to ward off Trump’s unrealistic and dangerous policies.
– Federal Judges have blocked the use of shortcoming actions perpetrated by the Trump’s administration. However, Trump bluntly challenges the judgements and justice seem to be perplexed and failing to implement the rule of law.
– U.S. Citizens are wondering if they are slowly sleepwalking all the way to Autocracy and dictatorship?
– Is Trump’s birthday celebration yet another red flag to one more nail added to the coffin of Democracy? He also talks about a 3rd term which the U.S. constitution does not offer.
– How come Trump is challenging, rather than obeying Court Orders, while the Trump’s supporting justice /members of the U.S. Supreme Court invariably look the other way?
– While USA courts are flooded with cries for justice due to the mass firing policy of government employees and funding cuts pursued by Mr. Trump’s BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL), hailed by Billionaire Elon Musk and the White House administration, the democratic institution seems bewildered on what step(s) to take to protect its citizens.
– There are reports of American security at earnest risk, as the insane ball of Trump’s policies keep rolling.
– When asked about the insanity of his tariffs wars policy, Mr. Trumps imply that kids would have to do away with 30 toes and be content with two…(he added) that is only $2 !
– Obviously, this sarcastic jargon does not flip the American life to better living, does it?
– While Trump claims that Canada would be better off as the U.S. 51st State, reports have it that 10 U.S. States would be pleased to be under the Canadian flag, for instance, Minnesota, Maine, New Hampshire, Washington State, Wyoming, North Dakota, Michigan, even Oregon to name few.
– In his 2016 presidential election campaign, Trump brazenly claimed that he is a genius. Perhaps he is, except that he would be registered as one for the wrong cause! This reminds me of when Churchill was once asked about Democracy, he said that Democracy may be unpopular, except for those regimes that have not been tested.
In his 2024 Presidential Election Campaign, Mr. Trump proved his red flag genius abilities when he fooled a whole nation with all its well-oiled machines of brilliant institutions and rational U.S. Communities to vote for him. His democratic opponent candidate, Kamala Harris warned the American voters of Trump’s fake promises. The American voters chose to listen to Trump instead. His first 100 days in Office is unfortunately dreadful.
Yes, Mr. Trump is a genius. He managed to win his 2nd term presidency against all odds and became the 47th President of the USA. Now most Americans who voted for Trump realize what they have done as they bend their heads down while slobbering over their shoes with guilt!
It is reported that the Trump’s first 100 days of his 2nd term as President is recorded as the toughest to swallow and most unpopular. Demonstrations are constantly held with U.S. Citizens voicing their displeasure with the Trump’s administration. As a result, popularity polls are not kind to Mr. Trump. He likes to surround himself with individuals who are ready and willing to salute him with the familiar “Yes Sir”, no questions asked, as they eagerly execute his orders staunchly.
As a non-U.S. Citizen and looking from the outside, I pray that the chaotic model of Trump’s administration gain some sense and ends. I am sure that people globally share that sentiment. People are not only angry but also fearful as what the next step Trump will adopt.
Trump’s team are running the country with an Iron sadistic fist regardless of the rule of law. Unless U.S. citizens wake up and resist to protect the democratic institutions from the MAGA craze, they will be slowly driven into the biting sharp teeth of dictatorship.
The convicted felon, Mr. Steve Banning, a close ally with Trump, recommended his famous advice of “Flood the Zone”, meaning for Trump, during the first 100 days in the White house, to sign as many as can be Executive Orders to confuse the U.S. citizens and the whole world. Trump took that advice enthusiastically. Therefore, he is not walking carefully on eggshells; he is stepping hard and loud enough on them for others to hear.
Trumps’ policies are destroying bridges rather than building, especially with allies. The long-time trade partners of Canada and Mexico have bluntly declared that trade relationship with the USA is over. Trust no longer exists!
It is interesting to note that the April 2025 job figures report have increased by 122,000 jobs. While Trump blames the previous Biden’s administration for the economic mess he has created, he will no doubt claim a credit to his administration for the increase in the April job figures, which is due to the strong economy the Biden Administration left behind! Can anyone dare say that to Trump?
Most Economic and political analysts seem to warn that the future looks bleak due to the On, Off and On again policies of the Trump administration. Time will tell.
