Men, Efforts and Results, Dr Emdad Khan
We as men make efforts and see results of efforts.
In surah Surah AlNajm, Allah swt declares, in Ay 39,
53:39
وَأَن لَّيْسَ لِلْإِنسَـٰنِ إِلَّا مَا سَعَىٰ ٣٩
and that each person will only have what they make efforts towards,
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
In surah AlNajm Ay 40, He swt reminds, the outcome of our efforts, we will be able to see.
53:40
وَأَنَّ سَعْيَهُۥ سَوْفَ يُرَىٰ ٤٠
and that ˹the outcome of˺ their efforts will be seen ˹in their record˺,
In this life we have made efforts and we will see the results in this world as well as in the life hereafter. If we do good deeds, we will have a peaceful life, may be some testing here and there. If we do evil deeds, we may earn and for a short time, may enjoy, but eventually, we will have the unpleasant results.
Allah swt finally stated that final results will be reward of Jannh fro god deeds and punishment of hell fire for bad deeds.
May Allah sw give us capacity to do good deeds and get his pleasure here and hereafter.
