Dr Emdad Khan: Spending in the path of Allah before death
Spending before death comes to us.
Surah Al Munafiqun A10
63:10
وَأَنفِقُوا۟ مِن مَّا رَزَقْنَـٰكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِىَ أَحَدَكُمُ ٱلْمَوْتُ فَيَقُولَ رَبِّ لَوْلَآ أَخَّرْتَنِىٓ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍۢ قَرِيبٍۢ فَأَصَّدَّقَ وَأَكُن مِّنَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ ١٠
And donate from what We have provided for you before death comes to one of you, and you cry, “My Lord! If only You delayed me for a short while, I would give in charity and be one of the righteous.”

Surah Al Munafequn A11
63:11
وَلَن يُؤَخِّرَ ٱللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُهَا ۚ وَٱللَّهُ خَبِيرٌۢ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ ١١
But Allah never delays a soul when its appointed time comes. And Allah is All-Aware of what you do.
Here Allah swt is reminding us to spend in path of Allah from what He has given us before death comes to us. When human beings will seek a bit extension to do good deeds and spend in the charity
Next verse 11 Allah is reminding, when our time comes as recorded, no one will get any extension. Allah swt is aware of what we are doing.
May Allah swt give us capacity to donate when we are able and strong.
As during death bed, we like to get extension to do more good deeds, but no one will get any extension.
